Today, the Children's Museum Center hosts three types of exhibitions: works by the greatest Novgorod artists, themed collections and works by local children.
The center provides its guests with a lecture hall and the Natural Culture classroom for classes, as well as rooms for workshops. The center prepares folklore programs related to the holidays of the folk calendar, using many genres of children's folklore, including edutaining games.
Currently, the team is working on the long-term exhibitions Onfim's City and The Historical Sources, and both of them have a unique feature – the use of the interactive programmes.
Every week the center arranges guided tours in the different exhibitions for children and their parents. The Weekend Club Project also gives patrons opportunity to attend master-classes. These workshops help children to explore their talents and gifts via an introduction to centuries-old Russian culture.
