The project involves companies of Russian and foreign theaters, youth theater, creative workshops. Premieres and widely recognised performances, representing pages of national history and culture will be presented at the festival.

Performances of the VIII Festival share a common theme of Enlightment in the broad sense of this concept. Russia has given the world many great writers, philosophers, poets, composers, artists, scientists, statesmen and politicians. These people left behind a unique cultural heritage from which we can draw inspiration.
